Check out any local rescues some might have a few chickens that need a home....chickens are very flock oriented...they can live alone but seem to like living in a group....if you find a chicken or few to keep her company....be sure to give them plenty of time to get used to each other....keep them separated from each other but in view....if tossed in together with out a chance to get acquainted they may fight...causing stress to both birds...it's a carp shoot sometimes...unless you can read their little bird brains..all you can do is try...
