Alrighty my friends. Can you tell me why this hen has lost all her fluffy but? She is not the bottom of the pecking order. No one else has this issue. She had some “pastey butt” four weeks ago. She just finished a mini molt. Any education appreciated.

Urates in feces have scalded her skin causing feather loss, redness and irritation. Apply Nu-Stock to the area and it will heal. It will also deter picking. Feathers and fluff will eventually regrow.
When your birds get poop stuck in their butt feathers, use a garden hose with sprayer to spray off their nasty butt, then release them to go on their way. In winter you'll need a container of warm water to clean them up.
You can find Nu-Stock in the Equine section at a feed store. Shake the tube well and wear disposable gloves when applying it.
