Newbie with a delema...help!!!

I am thinking of getting a few chicks this weekend, but the problem is that we will be gone for 2 days next week. What should I do about the feed and water??? I am very new at this

is there any way possible you can wait until you return to get them? Ask your feed store (if thats where you're getting them from) to hold them for you.

Its the best solution given that baby chicks require alot of tending to daily when they are little.

Or have someone come in to tend them. Young chicks are exceptionally vulnerable and the heat lamp creates a fire risk. They need to be supervised.

I think I know someone that will come and watch them... didn't know why I didn't think of that myself :h
