Newbie with a HUGEEEEE Egg

Never ever saw an egg this big. I have only had my chickens for a month now. This is a first... Wish I knew which one laid it.

It's a double yolker. I get about 1 a week like that from my younger girls. It's very common for pullets to lay double yolkers, and some hens will consistently produce them throughout their lives.

Wow.....nice egg! You could feed the entire family on this one. Ha!

I have a couple of hens that lay humungous eggs. It is a wonder they don't get stuck!!

Soooo...was it a double yolkers....or maybe a shelled egg inside an egg?

Turned out to be a triple yoke......Made a great omlet this morning.
