Newbie with many questions

I'm very new to chickens got them on the 26th of August.I only have 4 ,2 dark colored ones and 2 whitish/ yellow colored ones which is where my questions begin.I don't know what kind of chickens they are the 2 dark ones I think are Plymouth rocks the white ones I have no clue and I don't know their age .I know I sound dumb but I'm really not there's a reason behind it .Sitting at home with my mom her husband calls her and tells her he got chickens from tractor supply I didn't really start asking questions about them until a couple days later like what kind they are but he has no clue just got them I told him he needed to go back and ask they said they didn't know .so with all my research on chickens what they can eat, what they can't ECT..I came across BYC and figured I could get some help here
