Newbie with sick girls.

What a lovely forum! I'm a relatively new chicken mommy - we got our Barred Rocks last spring and we love our birdies.

I am really worried about them however - one will not use her left leg at all, and just sits in the coop all day, but she eats and drinks.
Yesterday, I noticed another one of the girls walking with a stilted gait, her comb droops, and her legs are pale (as opposed to golden, like
my other girls).

Any experiences/suggestions would be very welcome! I'm very worried about my chickies and am feeling pretty helpless right now.

I am sorry, I am not sure what is going on with your birds but maybe someone else will be able to help soon. I just wanted to say welcome and that there are a lot of knowledgable people here. I am sure you will have an answer soon. Hang in there.

I'm really sorry to say this, but it sounds like Mereks. Do you know if they were vacinated? It could be a heavy parasite load too so check them over for mites/lice and worms, and do a search on mereks. It presents a lot of different ways, but the stilted gate and not using one leg sound like it.
