I've been lurking about for a few weeks now and finally decided to join! Just started my own flock about 2 months ago. I have a pair of chocolate split orpingtons,4 lavendar orpingtons that are 10 weeks old, 2 silver laced Wyandotte hens, and 2 partridge rock hens

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Glad you decided to join us! (I was a lurker for a while before joining too. Lots of us were!) Sounds like you have a lovely flock. Those are some great breeds! I think Orpingtons are great birds! They are my favorite breed. And lavender is my second favorite color that they come in. (Buff being my top favorite.) Since your orps are younger than your hens, will you be introducing them? If so, be sure to check out this link. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/introducing-new-chickens-using-the-see-but-don-t-touch-method

Good luck to you!

Thank you all for the welcome! I have already introduced the lavenders into the flock using the see but don't touch method, it worked out wonderfully! Lavenders are one of my favorite colors too! Pretty sure I ended up with 3 roos and a hen from the straight run I purchased will post pictures when I figure out how
