I'm a newbie to this and am mostly interested in ducks and ducklings but also chickens I'm from Panama City Beach FL and I recently found a duckling and fed it some bread and spray millet to make it grow easier but after a swim in the tub it got sick hoping it will get better but doesn't look good
I have wanted a duckling for awhile since I remember the picture books when I was a kid called the little lamb and the little duckling my suspicion is that it was the tub that it was too cold water even after putting a towel on it that was the reason it got sick I'm pretty sure and trying to figure out why maybe too much chlorine etc any way I would like to try raising a duckling again even if I lose this one it's so soft and peeps like a zebra Finch does I didn't know that I thought they only quack or are silent when ducklings
I remember feeding ducks at a pond near an airport when I was only 10 years old and they would eat bread so if I should try any feed made for ducks please refer me to the website as my experience is mostly with finches parakeets and parrots as well as dogs and cats the usual pets and rabbits occasionally but so far no hamsters and definitely no horses I've fed horses carrots and petted one or two but never rode a horse ever think I'll try it out sometime but not sure when or where I might need the lottery for that lol
What site for duck feed is best? Reach out to me with any questions I have found plenty of interesting discussion here on this site thanks
