Hello! My family and I are the proud first time duck owners. We just bought two Khaki Campbell ducklings this past weekend. I'm so excited and so in love with them! I read so much before getting the ducklings. My goal is to add chickens in the future. So, I'm here to continue learning about raising our ducklings, and to learn all I need to know before adding chicks.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

Please do check out the Topic of the Week discussions Pork Pie mentioned. I have found these to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining. There are some down the bottom of the page which are duck specific.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your ducklings, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

It looks like you've dove right into the beautiful chaos called the world of ducks. :lol: Ducklings- especially the oh-so-versatile Campbells- are perfectly wonderful first additions. ;) You've picked an amazing breed to start your flock with.
I'm just partial to chickens. Ignore me. :cool:
