Newbie!

That'd kinda like my story, I took a 9 year break from chickens and have been getting back into having them for a little over a year now. They are so fun. This is a great and highly helpful site, I hope it helps you and you enjoy it as much as I have.
What kind of chicks did you buy?
BTW love the name lol! I got 2 Black Sexlinks, 1 red, 1 barred rock ,1 silver laced Wyandotte, 1 Americana, 1 buff Orpington, and 1 light Brahma who is just the sweetest! not a big variety available locally, But still happy with what I have!

Hello! Nice to be among fellow chicken people! I’ve recently adopted 8 little ladies from local feed store. They are about a month old now. I grew up with chickens goats horses rabbits dogs and cats, but left that life after high school. So it’s been awhile and so glad to be back in game! In the process of transforming the wood shed into a coop for the girls. And anxious to get them out of the house though it is nice to wake up to their sweet cheeping. Looking for forward to lots of great advice to help me get back to my roots.
:old :welcome
