I'm Steve. We recently acquired 25 hens and a rooster. We are currently waiting on our first hatch.

We actually started with 15 hens and 2 roosters. Bought 5 more hens and were given 3 more cornish cross roosters. Then my wife bought 13 more hens and a rooster.

Sold one rooster and hen mated pair Blue Andalusians. Gave the 3 cornish cross roosters to a neighbor and gave one rooster to the guy that bought the blues. We have had 2 hens parish in the heat. Started this hatch 21 days ago today. This has all happened in about 60 days.

Our original coop is entirely too small, so I have been working on building a new one for the last month in what little time I have had off. I'm on call a lot for a funeral home and work 2 days a week there, plus I'm a deputy coroner for my home county.
