I’m David, new to raising chickens. We’re looking forward to fresh eggs soon. It’s already been fun watching the chickens grow. I’ll be posting a sexying question as we have two Barred Rocks that we’re unsure about.

Barred rocks are super easy to sex based on feather pattern, and the coloring of their shanks. Welcome to BYC. You might want to put general location in your profile so folks can connect with appropriate advice (if needed) based on climate.

First off... ! I hope that you enjoy this site as much as the rest of us do! I have learned SOOOO much from this site, and I hope you do to! I would post pics of the barred rocks to determine the gender... plus i'm sure we all want to see your cuties!
