I like your way of thinking.

I try to give all life a chance. Sometimes more than one, sometimes only one. I knew they were in the area but just didnt think about them hunting during the day.

I am going to try my best not to. I desperately want her to pull through. But I am a realist as well and recognize euthanasia may be the most humane thing I can do for her.

The bottom line is that predators will hunt when hungry and when food is available. They are very adaptable. I have even seen owls hunting on cloudy, heavily overcast days.
