I have to disagree about the toe-treading, @Shadrach , it just doesn't hurt when the chickems do it I had to laugh at my brahma perched on top of my boot yesterday, impatiently waiting for a scoop of meal worms.

Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! Depending on if you live in a hot or colder climate, I would decide from there what breed or breed's to pick. Some breed's do better in one or the other of those climates.

The chicken is a golden partridge Brahma, the dog is a golden English Cocker spaniel.
