Hi,
I am new here and new to the idea of raising backyard chickens. Our coop was delivered today so hopefully we'll have some Rhode Island Reds in a couple of weeks. I have no idea what I'm doing but I've been researching and I'm excited to be able to add backyard chickens to our family.

Coop delivered? What kind of coop delivered? If it is a pre-fab that you assemble, you may want to reconsider that. They absolutely NEVER hold as many chickens as the package states. Not by a long shot.
