Hello everyone Im Leza Im new at the whole chicken Hatching an raising here is my story...
I left a 6 year relationship an went to stay with my daughter til I found a place of my own,
well she has chickens ducks an guineas so Iv been helpin her with them an on day a animal tore the coop up an killed 2 hens a rooster an a 2 month old chick that i named Elvis I was heart broken an their were 2 eggs so I scooped them up well i didnt kno the mom had been sittin on them whe i cracked one open their was a chick well that upset me so I sat the other egg on a flashlight an their was a baby in it , so my daughter said it wouldnt live cause i washed the coating off , uuummm im no quitter so i cracked a different egg rolled that baby egg in the egg white an dried with a hair dryer ,I didnt have an Incubator...sooo i placed the egg in my bra under my breast an carried it for 11 days ,Mind u my daughter said dont get ur hopes up it proly wont hatch...well in 11 days that mornin I keep hearing a lil peep peep an I looked in my bra an there it was A PIP HOLE OMG ELVIS #2 IS ALIVE !!! I was so happy to beat the odds an I brought this lil baby into the world and SHE is healthy she was born sept 29th 2019 lived in my closet in a dog cage til Christmas eve an she advanced to her coop an happy as a clam
