Newbie here and also to raising chickens. Located in East Texas. We picked up 6 girls for layers about 4 weeks ago. They were approximately 4-5 weeks old when we got them. My daughter picked out a Buff Brahma, Buff Orpington, Blue Rock, Rhode Island Red, French Black Copper Maran and Blue Laced Red Wyandotte for her first chicks. Anyways hello all.
