New chicken farmer. Have 8 ISA browns. Finally finished their new coop and run. Had them in a small area and at they explored new run and climbing coop ladder and checking out the perches all day at dusk they all gathered in the closest corner to the old run and coop. Talking among themselves. I think they were upset
. One actually went up the ladder and went half way in coop.but then ran back to the huddle. Finally went and picked them all up and put them in the coop. closed the door to it. Chickens seem to be creatures of habit. Hopefully tomorrow at dusk things are better. Still going to move old home out of sight. Hello to all you other chicken lovers !
