Hello all! I have wanted chickens for many, many years. However, life intervened and it didn't happen until this year! In my 70th year of life I finally have a flock of 6 chickens: 3 Buff Orpingtons and 3 Easter Eggers. I have grown them from chicks, 1 day old. Got them from a friend.

I am here to read, learn and get the accumulated wisdom of those who have "gone this way before."
