Well in the meantime, while waiting for them to lay, here is a great article on "The Egg Song, Why do Hens Sing?" Some hens are definitely noisier than others after laying, so I don't know if yours will be or not, but if they are, you'll know why! Welcome to BackYard Chickens!

She actually didn't make a noise. She was chatting away to herself in there but came out as if nothing had happened! I was gutted
But I found a tiny white egg
