Good Morning all! Instructed to introduce myself. I am an active senior. Have a property in Northern California. Raise for personal consumption, chickens, ducks, goats, vegetables and own horses. (And a small pack of dogs) I don’t have pet chickens, just raise for eggs. My background is ranching (mostly cattle) but now I just ride for pleasure and raise a few animals and vegetables so I don’t have to eat the toxic stuff from grocery.
I raise my animals with organic and holistic.
To be honest probably won’t spend a lot of time here but nice to have the resource.

We have a Garden forum and I think there may be another one. We also have been organic gardening for 33 years. What we do not grow, we try to purchase from the Mennonite neighbors, who use no or minimal pesticides. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/gardening.16176/
