I am returning to the chicken world now that the kids older(17,13,11, and 2). We are proud owners of 1 big fat black lab, 1 Senegal parrot, 1 Amazon parrot, 5- three weeks old chicks, 4 baby chicks(and counting) that came out of the incubator yesterday.I am a stay at home mom that runs a daycare business. We got the chicks at the feed store then decided that it would be great for the family to see the whole incubation process. They are in heaven. We just have one problem with one of the chicks. It was born with one leg that doesn't work. We have put it in its own container to keep it safe from the others(they were pecking at his foot), but it cant walk(yet) and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to help it. All ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Hi everyone - We are new to all of this, so we are looking forward to lots of guidance and advice. We are living in Wexford, Ireland. On Saturday we collected our 5 Pullets, which are about 17 weeks old. They have been in the coop overnight & were quite slow at coming out this morning. My wife got a shock this afternoon, when she thought one had escaped - however it was a friendly pheasant (wild one) who had arrived to say 'hello' - I'll try to get a photo if it happens again. Goodbye for now - frank
