My mom is helping me type this post as I am ten years old.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I bought my three chickens this fall.



(3) What breeds do you have?
I have two mixed breed Rhode Island Red and White Leghorn and one White Leghorn

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
A neighbor who has chickens told my mom about your website.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I play soccer and lacrosse. I love to read all books on horses.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have seven siblings and I am number five. My mom home educates six of us. I have a Holland Lop rabbit. We used to have two Golden Retrievers until they died. They lived until they were 14.

Glad to have ya here! So sorry about your dogs - I miss one of ours that died a few years ago a lot, but I have 3 others now. It's wonderful how many brothers and sisters you have. I only have one brother and we both wished we had other siblings as we grew up, but I guess that's why we're so close today. Sounds like your momma has her hands full with all of you - my hat is off to her for being able to juggle all that comes with that many children. Don't ever feel like you're asking a dumb question here on this forum about chickens - the only dumb question is one that's never asked.

Welcome to BYC.....We're a small 2 person farm in west GA and we love to farm......We have over 500 animals and also raise fruit, veggies and are planning to teach some homesteading classes this winter. We have a burro, milk goats, bunnies, ducks, guineas and many kinds of poultry and 2 beautiful dogs

We selll and ship hatching eggs. We also sell babies here at the farm and grown poultry and goats, goats, etc.

My hobbies,.....I love to read and eat!
