Way new don't even have chicks yet or a coop or anything else for that matter. Just a interest/desire to raise some chickens....Live in Wisconsin...Hubby 4 kids 2 out of the nest and 2 still in...have a dog cat and 2 rabbits. I don't think that I will be able to eat my chickens!!! So they will just lay eggs and look pretty!!! Anyone else not eat their "game"? Anyway I have lots of questions.

well

i am somewhat new also but no i do not plan on using my chickens for meat birds. i just cant imagine raising something from a baby and then killing and eatting it. just post any ?'s u have and there will be plenty of bycer's with answers.
