Hey folks this is my first group of chicks raising for layers . I have fallen in love with my 4 week old babies, Sugarplum , Dixie (named after my mom lol) honey, myrtle , matilda and sweetiepie , hoping all are girls when will I know without question......

wow thanks guys........im kinda excited i moved the babies from their small cage to a large kennel today until we get their coop finished next week they seem very happy with the move i even made them a small roosting bar to get used to and they love it ! My bff/roommate laughed at me cause I was out there with a flash lite to see lol .........Kim

By the way I have a question.....the floor of my hen house is of course wood but I read somewhere that putting a cheap piece of lanolium then sand worked really well and was easier to clean.........any opinions on this? Kim
