Hi, I just signed up, have been stalking for sometime now. 
My husband and I just received our first chickens (Barred Plymouth Rocks) last Monday and they all arrived alive and are still thriving. We are thrilled. This is our first experience with chickens. We decided to raise chickens for eggs and meat to get away from the store bought stuff. I grew up on a farm in Iowa and remember having chickens then. I know we will have tons of questions on our path to eating better and raising our own food.
