Hi everyone i am new here but grew up around yard chickens in S. Ga but until now after retiring i decided to have a couple of laying hens. I am still making the coop so don't have hens as of yet. Hope to get some good tips from u all. Glad to be here!

Chickens dont care what it looks like As long as its predator proof for them at night and has plenty of ventilation you should be good to go

I'm getting ready to start one of my own soon. Been studying the coops section at the top of the page. So many great ideas.

Thanks to u all, I have been enclosing my garden spot with chicken wire too,so my new cluckers can go in there for bugs!
