Hi - just joined BYC. We recently purchased 2 Buff Orpingtons. Know nothing about breeding but anxious to learn. How do you clean a coop?

Welcome to BYC. You clean a coop very carefully - that stuff can get stinky.

! Great to have you aboard! I clean with my snow shovel. I have straw or hay on the floor and just scoop it up. Good luck to you!

Hello from Oregon & welcome to BYC. It depends on the coop & what you have in it. Some people spot clean with a large kitty litter scoop and others use rakes. You can compost or put in trash Buff orphs are nice mellow birds - enjoy

some people use the deep litter method where they just fluff up the litter from time to time. I don't fully understand it but, I'm sure it will come up if you put "Deep Litter method"
