Joined awhile ago, 1 year about give or take. Took me awhile to finally get chicks, and,I am glad I did. I've been reading all the info on BYC since then . Finally was able to get my chicks 3 weeks ago. I have 10 lovely Barred Rock hens and they are getting big! This site has the best info and people anywhere. I thought I loved my dog, and I do, but, there is nothing like my girls. They are so happy to see me.
Once I figure out the website I hope to put up an Avatar and pics of my girls. You "guys" are the best.

Glad you have joined us! I have 4 cats and 4 dogs but I think I"d give them all up to keep my chickens
