Hi all,
I have been a guest for awhile on Backyard Chickens and have enjoyed all of the help and info from this wonderful site. Thought I would finally join. I have had chickens since I was 12 (since 1980). Right now my family (my husband and 6 and 8 year old girls) have three hens - 2 speckled sussex and 1 buff orpington. Glad there is such a great resource out there now!

I also browsed for ages before I joined, maybe a year or so of browsing whenever I needed advice. It's much better when you're a member because then you can interact.
