Hello,

Just adopted 4 hens for the winter. We live in Maine and this is my first time raising any birds. I have made the coop and fenced and covered run for them. I have no idea what kind of birds they are or how old they are! At this time the coop has no lights inside. I am hoping to get some eggs and I am thinking about adding a light. We shall see how that goes. I also have a lab/pitbull that seems quite interested in the girls! Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!
