Tavernier (The Keys) Florida
I'm new to raising chickens and I've just decided on a coop and getting 2 Buff Orpingtons.
My question is...I live in the Florida Keys. My property has no soil.
It is concrete or what we call pea rock. Will that be alright?

Try to get some sand for there run area, walking on pea gravel all the time can cause an injury to the foot pad leading to bumble foot, plus the pea gravel will be hot in the summer chickens can withstand cold a lot better than heat. add some wood ash from a bon fire to the sand and your chickens will enjoy dust bathing in it.
Welcome and enjoy BYC !

Thank you everyone for the "Welcomes". I'm doing a lot of reading, seeing where I need to supply supplements, etc. due to my no soil conditions. I'm thinking of adding a raised green's bed in part of my run.
