Hello! My name is Brenda. I'm from North Idaho. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to chicken keeping. I've had my flock for just a couple months so far. I have a Buff Orpington and six Cinnamon Queens. All hens. I love them all so much. I'll always own chickens from here on out.

Hi :welcome Brenda

Glad you could join the flock! You have two lovely breeds there in the orpington and cinnamon queens. I too started my chicken journey with two cinnamon queens or warrens as they are called over here in the UK. They were excelent egg layers and a lovely bird to keep. They were called Amy and Penny and even learnt their names. I too can't imagine not having chickens now and hope too I'm able to keep them from here on in.

Good luck with them in the future and I hope you enjoy BYC, I am sure you will everyone here to help with any questions you may have.
Enjoy all the chicken chat :frow

So glad you could join our community! You have some very nice breeds. Love the Orpingtons, such docile friendly birds.

Make yourself at home here and we do welcome you to our flock!

Glad you joined our "flock"! Sounds like you have a lovely group of birds. Many members on here keep Orpingtons and Cinnamon Queens and greatly enjoy them for their excellent temperaments and very good egg production.

Good luck with all your chickens! Feel free to ask any questions you may have. We'd love to help you out in any way we can!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have some great breeds. Buff Orpingtons are hardy, friendly and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and good layers of large, brown eggs. Cinnamon Queen is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Link which are laying machines. You should get loads of eggs from those six girls. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
