Day 18. Removed turner, ramped up the humidity. Candled and had three that had strange looking air sacs, like they ran a little ways down the side of the shells, but none were clear, so I decided to chance the three questionables and hope for the best since there was no odor. Couldn't really see much EXCEPT the air sacs cause the eggs are so dark shelled, sooo... Here we go!!

Today is Day 19 for me. No movement, no rocking. Keeping my hands OFF the incubator. Added a little water through the opening at the top of the 'bator to raise the humidity up a bit.

Fingers and toes are crossed.

(I really didn't think it was possible--just seemed more like a fun science experiement! Well, yeah, I know chicks hatch, but I didn't think they would for *me*)

My first hatch was 72%. I hatched 21 out of 29 eggs. Anything over 50% on my hatch I figure is great since they were all mailed.

alright I now have 2 chicks! they are so cute! no other pips as of yet but today is just now day 21. wish me luck!
