... I think my hatch rate is going to be pretty similar, I am going for a 100% next time ha ha ha....

I am due tomorrow or later with no pips yet. I have 6 duck eggs...lol.

Can I enter? I've never successfully hatched anything before.

I put them in on March 9th

Actually I guess that was just an "update" Sorry, have alot more pips. Won't post anything until they are done. How long do you typically wait? I guess tomorrow is day 21.

I candled today!! Day 11! Out of 42, 12 were no develoment- maybe not fertile, and 1 had a blood ring. Most of what is left look like they are developing pretty well, although a couple have larger air sacs than others and 1 or 2 had air sacs that ran down the length of the egg. 1 had an air sac on the wrong end. So, I have most of the remaining 29 that look like they stand a good chance of hatching!! I am encouraged!! We shall see!!

I candled this weekend, day 10, and out of 7 eggs I had one with nothing at all, one that looks like it may have a blood ring and 5 babies

. I'm so excited!! Even got to see them moving!! Here's keeping my fingers crossed

My hatch is over. What a fun experience. Out of 19 I had 17 to hatch. I think that would be around 89.5%. Not bad for my first time.

On March 22nd I set 40 eggs for my first hatch. I candled at 10 days and again at 14 days. I removed two eggs that where clear inside. I think they where not fertile. Come sunday we shall see if any hatch!

My name has disappeared from the list. It was on there, but on the lower list that has now been deleted. I'm due to hatch on 4/18 and I set my eggs on 3/28.
