End of day 20. I have 5 hatched and 8 pips out of 29 total in the bator. Tomorrow is the scheduled hatch day but i set them late one night and called the next day the first, so the hatch is a little early with it's beginning today. Got to rest! Wonder what the day holds tomorrow. I am sufficiently honored to be a witness to this miracle of life and in awe of the Creator this night. I also am now a bonafide hatchaholic! Just joined the club!!

Mine won't be 100% either as I had a quitter a couple days ago. I have a split hatch, today is day 21 for 4 silkies and Tuesday is day 21 on 7 Welsummers. I cannot even candle the Welsummers because they are too dark.

Okay, here's what I had.

I started with 8 eggs. I had 1 that had a blood ring. 3 that were infertile, 1 early quitter, and now have 3 healthy babies. The 3 that were infertile were confirmed by me cracking them open and checking them. Same thing with the one with the blood ring and the early quitter so I guess my fertile ones were actually 5, right? 3 babies, an early quitter, and the blood ring?

We decided earlier to use rounded-up percentages, so the decimal percentages need to go up.
