In the Brooder
Hi, we're somewhat new here. Somewhat as in, been reading and learning for months but finally decided to become a member today 
A little about us: We live on 15 acres in Indiana, have 5 kiddos, one dog, 5 outside cats...and our spoiled, super loved flock of 17 hens and 2 roosters.
We have 9 isa brown hens, 3 rhode island reds (1 is a rooster), 2 EE's, 2 black Australorp (1 is a rooster), 2 Plymouth Barred Rock and 1 Golden Sebright Bantam.
They are spoiled rotten and fed completely organic/non-gmo feed and snacks. We just finished building our first coop...or more so a chicken mansion. It's 10'x12' with a massive run (although they mainly free range), and fully solar powered everything. My husband says with the amount of money we put into this flock they better start laying golden eggs!
Well, that's enough about us; I'm ready to get to reading more threads
