My daughter wants an Easter Egger hen but I dont know where to get them in my area. I am in the Santa Maria area. Does anyone know where we can get them?

Okay, I have been elected to be the Poultry Leader of our 4H club. I think I'm gunna need some help, I dont know where to start. What do I do at my first meeting?
 
Hi I am in Arroyo Grande, CA and just started with some young hens. I have BO, 2 EE, 1 Aust, and 1 New Hampshire Red. So excited about starting this!

Thank you! Yes, I have a LOT to learn for sure! Already love my girls! Last night was their first night in the coup and run. Let them send the day in the run and then put them in the coup ust before dusk but 3 just went back out into the run and slept there. Will they eventually just roost themselves or should I put them on the roost each night. The 4th hen stayed on the roost but realized this a.m. she was afraid to go down the chicken ramp so I had to help her so she could get to the water and food in the run. Any ideas to get them to understand to enter the coop at night where it is warmer?
