We recently moved to Roaring Springs TX to help start a cowboy church. So we decide to raise so chickens. Mainly to help our four kids better understand nature. We are also about to add a mini donkey to our family which will prove to be lots of fun. We originally intended to have 3-4 chicks. But I got carried away and we now have 3 Barred Rocks, 3 New Hampshires and 6 undetermined. That is if you can trust the feed store.
