Call duck hatched today and she can't keep her head up. She is also very wobbly and can't stand.

Welcome to BYC. How many hours ago did it hatch? I ask because some of them can take many hours to fluff up and start walking.

Ty for answering. She (all the ducks are "she" according to my granddaughter) hatched early this morning.

I've heard they are quite tired after hatching. Maybe give the baby some time before getting too worried.

Leave it to find its feet. Sometimes it's hours before they get up..

We lost the call duck last night and the other call this afternoon. We still have the Rouen and several Indian Runners. Thanks for the interest from you all.
