Newborn Rabbit HELP!

I wanted to add here some people find baby wild rabbits and assume they are newborns and helpless.
Rabbits tend to leave the nest very early and most that are captured by unsuspecting people aren't newborns or helpless.
A wild baby rabbit if it has fur and is trying to get away is not helpless and in need of attention. I have had numerous people bring me baby rabbits they find in their yard and i take them and release them.
A wild baby rabbit will starve to death with you trying to force feed it under the notion it needs help.

I ask if your Cat,Dog brings one to you and it isn't injured has all it's fur and is very active take it to a safe place and release it.
If it's injured take it to a vet and if it's a true hairless newborn take it to someone who knows how to care for them.
If you must care for it yourself Goat milk is best and use a eye dropper feeding it tiny amounts every 3 to 4 hours. Careful with the dropper you can drown them if you squeeze to hard.

Please don't catch baby rabbits

Magikchick Just to let you know i wasn't refering to you as you did the right thing sorry it died

This little one eyes hadn't open yet. It was a good size so I'm not sure it was a wild one. We have people in the neighborhood who raise rabbits and I seen some around that has gotten out. Could have been one of these babies.

Bummer our wonderdogs ( 3) have all brought baby rabbits to the front door, twice i tried to TAME THEM hahahahahhahaaa forget one day to hold thme buggars and they are wild again. I would have my morning quiet time with a bunny in the shirt pocket. and three times during the rest of the day i would have them handled, held in a pocket etc.... hand fed etc.... they all returned to the wild our property has tons of waskaly wabbits
