Newby chicken guy

Hello all. Checking in from the wilds of NC. I had a friend who is raising some chickens so I decided to give it a shot. Bought a straight run of 10 cuckoo Marans (figured I'd get maybe four pullets and then found "guranteed" female americaunas so bought two more!

Lost one chick to ? but the rest are doing well! Building my coop and run this week.
