Hello everyone I have 5 ducks, 2 call ducks (1 is a drake), 2 Cayuga, and 1 khaki campbell, all female except for that one. My calls are roughly 15 weeks old and I've noticed my drake is pinching the top of my female call duck on the neck but not getting on top. I've also noticed my khaki laying across the water flirting. My question is we were wanting an all female flock for eggs however we ended up with 1 drake. How do I properly separate the drake from the others without them stressing or crying. I'm super in love with them so I don't want to upset them in any way. It's spring here in Australia and roughly 30 degrees. Should I fence off something in the pen? Can they still sleep together? Will they have to be separated forever? Is it only on water they will mate? Any help would be appreciative.

Welcome to BYC!!!!!!!!!! We're so happy to have you here : ) For advice on ducks, you can visit the duck forum. I would try to help, but i know nothing about ducks 😅 I'll tag @Ducklingsandchicks they are much more educated on the subject of ducks than I am.

Sorry, unfortunately I'm not wanting any baby ducks😁
Okay. Then don't incubate the eggs.
Every one of my chickens lays fertile eggs. I only get chicks when I allow a broody to sit a clutch.
