Finally signed up.
Ive been a casual frequent visitor to BYC. I've raised chickens for a camp for numerous years. Moved from there and finally got my own hatchery quality flock couple years ago. Currently have Buff Orps, Silver Laced Wyandotte, BLRW, sex links, EE, and couple mongrels. Total 9 hens and 1 BO roo. I currently have a broody BLRW sitting on clutch of 8 eggs. Last year she hatched me 6 of 6 eggs. Mostly roos who are in the freezer.
I have 4 kids who help with chores and sell the eggs and keep the profits. Hoping to grow as our demand for eggs has grown. Live on 2 acres in the midwest.
