I'm hoping I'm in the spot for introductions finally. I thought it was difficult to find. Anyway, I am Nita but it's really my husband who decided to get chickens. We started with 12 and now have 11. Need to bathe one,but don't remember what with. These with the raw places are worrying me the most. Can anyone help me?
We are from eastern Oklahoma, both retired and enjoying it. We live at a beautiful lake with 2 dogs and a cat. Hope someone can help.

Raw places? Well, you might start with baby shampoo. That should not sting. Could you be more descriptive? A photo, maybe?

Hi Nita, welcome to BYC!
Can you tell us a bit more about the raw spots.... where they are on the bird, if the feathered are present or absent in the area, how long they've been there, etc
