I just joined and cannot figure out how to create a profile. Also, we just started with 4 chickens and no very little (like nothing) about what we are doing. How long does it take for chickens to aclimate and start laying? They were supposed to be laying when we bought them.

For your question on laying hens, mine started laying at about 17 weeks old. Do you know exactly how old they were when you bought them?
