Welcome to BYC.
You sure hit the rooster lottery! You can try seperating the bullying chick for 3 days to a place where she can't see or hear the others. Then you can introduce her back in. It may work. I hope it does.
Incidentally, introducing pullets to those boys is likely going to cause a lot of fights. I would prepare at least two bachelor pens and coops in adition to your ladies' coop and run. Good luck!

So we’ve talked about doing some bachelor flocks how would that work if I fenced off and made a bachelor flock but I wanted a rooster or two to be with the ladies if I have enough ladies, of course, or say one rooster with the ladies will the boys still fight, even though they’re penned up if they can see any of the hens?

We only have 2 coops with 31 chickens. That includes 2 roosters but doesn't include 3 more cockerels that need to go somewhere. We have already rehomed 4 cockerels BYM. Both coops free range all day every day and there is not a problem with the roos. Just a bit of the senior showing who's boss the first few days.

I thought of keeping one of the cockerels but asked myself Why?

Would you buy/build another coop for the bachelors? There are other's here who have a bachelor set up but I don't know if they are ever out all together. I would think not, those hormones will have the cockerels/roos wanting to mate. Other members know more than I.

Exactly so my thought would be a set up similar to yours but leave the other roosters in a fair sized pen/run so wondering if that would still cause problems because yes ours are also going to free range all day every day and as for why keeping any Because my wife that’s why lol I’m quicker to grasp the culture of raising chickens than she is as far as attachment, etc. but I think she’s willing to try to rehome them before other options which the lady we got those chicks from she said she would take the roosters back

I understand...your wife wanting to keep them. She doesn't understand yet about their hormones. Our jr roo, was released out with the senior roo, when he was a 5 mo cockerel. Senior chased him, I squirted senior with a water bottle if he pursued. After a few days, the senior only chased him away if he tried to mount a hen/pullet. Shortly after, 3 weeks ish, Jr cockerel could mount out of sight of the senior. After a couple of months, jr could mount in sight as long as it was not a fav girl. 😂

I'm thinking of a third coop next spring and "was" wondering about another male. Then I asked myself, why? If I'm going to incubate again next spring, the 2 roos are doing their job. I would be concerned about a third, disrupting the flock dynamics.

Hey, maybe you could ask the woman who sold you the chicks if she would trade, 2 cockerels for a pullet? You and your wife will work out what's best for the flock.
