That's a good idea. Maybe we can identify the breed (possibly even the gender) for you.

You certainly can post photos here and we will give our best guess as to breed and gender. You can also post at "what breed or gender if this." It's good post clear closeups of each bird rather then both together, and mention the age - it can make a difference. Welcome to BYC
