Sometimes stress, such as a move, can bring preexisting illnesses to the forefront. Lameness can be a tail of many illnesses.
I hope she recovers quickly. Good luck with her!

Ah yes she had the same problem around this time last year. The season is changing and there were big differences in temperature. (18C/64F at night, 30C/86F during the day) Could it be one of the stressors as well?

It sounds as if she has an underlying illness. But she pulled through last year, so hopefully she will be fine.

Welcome. First, thank you for saving two hens from a terrible life of misery and early death. I think stress is a big factor. A move for an already traumatized hen is a big thing and stress lowers the immune system.
