just joined today and looking for opinions on coops with dirt floors. going to start building a new coop soon. this one will be larger than the one i have now,which has a wood floor.

from California! My coop has a dirt floor, I put shavings down and rake it out when it's dirty.

Hi and from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. I have a dirt floor as well. I sure like it better than a wood floor. If I accidently spill the waterer it soaks right down.
